Through the Night

lyrics

Fragments passing into the light, through the night
Magnifying past passages cut through time, backwards is so sublime
But it only shows that I'm losing my reasons why
I decided to build a home in the present time
So I turn the filter on and I'm back to the program instructions I laid out
So that I can control all the functions I need to decide my future
Even if I can't see the infinite beauty of every moment that makes it all worth being alive
I will survive

Through the night, I'll always find a road
Through the night, through the night, I'll always find a home
I will

Open up my eyes
Break me free from inside
Lights are flashing, voices clashing
Nothing matters to me
Show me what I hide

I'm at war with my pieces, I wanna say more with my thesis
But the door that releases truth from the world into the mind is one that
Only can be opened from behind
It's accidental by design
Cracking mental borderlines
Asking what and where and why is a start
But the science is harder than the math
Because it involves walking an uncertain path
The journey is the destination
There's no final resting station
Right now is the best occasion
Do your best and just be patient

Open up my eyes
Break me free from inside
Lights are flashing, voices clashing
Nothing matters to me
Show me what I hide

Through the night, I'll always find my way
Through the night, through the night, I'll always find my way
I will

Take away my pride
Break me free from inside
Lights are flashing, voices clashing
Nothing matters to me
Show me what I hide
